REFUNDS & cancellations policy

We want every member to feel genuinely at home at Hjem Studios. If something isn’t right, please reach out — we will always try to handle things fairly and with care.

Cancelling your membership

You can cancel at any time — there are no minimum terms and no cancellation fees.

When you cancel:

  • Your membership remains active until the end of your current billing period

  • You will not be charged again after that date

  • You will retain full access to the class library until your billing period ends

To cancel, email us at hjemstudiosltd@gmail.com . Please allow up to 3-5 working days cancellation confirmation.

Your 14-day cooling-off right

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchasing a digital subscription and receive a full refund — this is your statutory cooling-off period.

Important: if you access the Hjem Studios class library before the 14 days are up, you are acknowledging that the digital content has been delivered and you are consenting to waive your right to a full cooling-off refund. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout.

If you have not accessed any content and wish to cancel within 14 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. Simply email hjemstudiosltd@gmail.com within that window, and we will process it promptly.

Refunds outside the cooling-off period

We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods as a general policy. However, we will always consider requests individually and with kindness.

We will issue a refund or credit in the following circumstances:

  • A technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing content you paid for

  • You were charged in error (for example, after a cancellation was confirmed)

  • Exceptional personal circumstances — please just reach out and talk to us

We will not issue refunds where access has been used, content has been downloaded or shared in breach of our terms, or where the request falls outside a reasonable timeframe.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. You will have a short grace period to update your payment details before access is paused. We will not charge any late fees.

In-person events

For Hjem Studios in-person events (workshops, new moon sessions, and similar):

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event: full refund or credit where possible. 

  • Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before: no refund, but we will offer a credit where possible

  • If we cancel or reschedule an event: full refund offered to all ticket holders

How to request a refund

Email us at hjemstudiosltd@gmail.com with your name, the email address on your account, and a brief note about your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days and process any approved refunds within 5–10 business days.
